For my fantasy and folklore class I chose the native american tale of The Wendigo. The story is such that an Indian warrior leavs his starving family in the heart of winter to go find food. While hunting he encounters The Wendigo, a shape shifter bent on eating him. A fight between the two ensues and the man is victorious...

Done in watercolor and ink.

Maaan - sorry to flood your inbox, but I'm fav-ing this one, too. xD I love watercolor paintings, and you created such a cold, forbidding, perfect atmosphere for the story. You're definitely one of my top favorite artists on this site.
